To divorce or not to divorce, that is the question.

I am married. I married in 2004 after learning I was pregnant and my husband at the time was entering the miltary. Well, the military thing didn't work out since he didn't make it through boot camp. We split in 2007 and have stayed legally married. The reason we have stayed married is because I was never able to find a position with affordable health benefits. Now I have. I was surprised to find out that at my new place of work I can start having benefits after 3 months. Isn't that great?

So, do I get the divorce papers ready when I have my new insurance kick in, or do I not do it just in case I get fired, laid off, or my car can't handle the drive anyway.

  1. Ewww..tough question. I guess as long as y'all have an arrangement & everything is cool... - neither of you are planning on getting re married - I would stay married a little longer until you are really secure. Good luck! : )
